The third edition brings this established undergraduate textbook up-to-date with the rapidly evolving observational situation. I strongly recommend it to moddrn who wants to get acquainted with this subject in a more or less painless way.
I bought the book without knowing anything about cosmology so I was a little surprised by that. See and discover other items: The Density of the Universe and Dark Matter. There are some “Advanced Topics” at zn end of the book.
